Can the app read pdfs on my phone?

This is a great app. Can a feature be added to process and read pdfs stored on my phone as well?

I second this.

I’m trying to read a pdf that is in the form of YouTube comments, and normal tts keeps getting in the way by reading the “reply button” and a bunch of other buttons which would normallly happen if Reddit was read with normal tts sites. A sort of reader mode that’s like the one you guys already have in place could work well with PDFs to identify any annoying footers, headers, and random symbols like the like button or reply button

The main focus of Little Birdie has always been to make websites easy to listen to—and we’ve got some exciting updates coming in the next few weeks to make that even better.

We didn’t originally plan to add PDF support, but the tech could definitely be adapted for it. If this is something you’d find valuable, feel free to email me at andrey@getlittlebirdie.com with a sample PDF and details on how you’d like it to be read (e.g. what parts to skip).

This will help us understand if it’s something we can explore in the future.
